02 sensor

Just bought a 2000 ws6, no 02 sensors, do I need them? Please advise.

It may not have rear O2 sensors, but it certainly will have fronts.

And no, you don't need the rears.

Couple of quick points, ESEIBIL67 is is right one, the car will run without the rear two but won't even run without the front two. Is the car posting SES codes or does it have O2 SIMS in the harness for the rear )2 connectors? (O2 simulators to keep the OBD-II fromm throwing codes for the rear sensors) They look like little caps that cover up the bare electrical pins in the connector.

When I bought this car the engine light was on. The man told me it was because he put 3" exhaust on and did not use the rear 02 sensors. He said I could put an 02 delete on the car and take care of the engine light. To me it seems like it is running very rich. Gets awful gas mileage and is not real strong out of the hole. At about 10mph on, it has alot of power. Any suggestions???????

all i can tell you is that your rear o2's are not the cause of your power loss. just get some o2 simulators and the code will go away.

is the car auto or manual ?
