Help! I have an 04 chevy avalanche and i got it low on 24's but i need the extra pump so i was thinking of dropping an ls1 intake, T.B cam n lifters but i dunno if i have to tune the e.c.u or what should i do.......im trying to create a unique truck its an 04 avalanche with 08 front clip low on 24's....any ideas?
Leave your intake on. Port & polish your T.B. A cam would make a world of difference, but then you'll need a tune. Put a C.A.I. on it. Some gears and larger brakes would help out with the larger rims.
porting and polishing your throttle body will not give you any noticeable horsepower, throttle response will be better. an ls6 intake would be better with a cam to match. but to fit that intake it will require allot of work.
