a lot of people hate on big cams and say they are sluggish down low and what not. but with an auto and stall to put you in that powerband what do you need that power down low for. when i had my 4400 stall and ms4 my car pulled hard as **** and left off the line even harder. now i have a nitrous converter thats only a 3600 and still am able to cut 1.6 short times. for stock heads i would deff say the ms4 or t-rex are the best. but if your looking for a nice head cam combo i would say to go with a smaller cam and nice heads to match. not knocking smaller cams at all, just my preferance and 2 cents.

man, you nailed it...i got 431/391 on my polluter and i dont think its near undriveable. and with big cams the power below the the newer upper power band is in no way sluggish....its completely like stock with a crazy badass idol

Best Cam to run on stock heads (IMO) I have seen NUMEROUS people have massive CAM ONLY GAINS!!!

79 RWHP Gain, Cam Only 399RWHP 384RWTQ and this is on a Brand New Forged Motor, he dynoed a few weeks ago with his new cut out and put down 410 hp 390 rwtq

Comp Cam Custom Grind 235/239 .647 .610 109LSA

Here is a Thread on it Locally:

Another Guy three or four posts down (CHAD CAM) is what they call it up here.

Chad himself, (name sake for this cam) he gained 86 rwhp from cam only 407 rwhp 2001 z-28 w/bolt-on's, ls6 intake, that cam, 4.10's, and tune
