I've been doing alot of searching and reading here and there and i'm still not sure. I've got a 71 Nova i'm going to put a 6.0 with a 4l80e out of a 2500 in and I talked to TSP about build specifics, but i would like to change over to a cable TB and get away from the drive by wire. My question is what harness, PCM and TB do i need? Stock or aftermarket? If you don't mind, give me your thoughts on this. Thanks Allen

Let me add, that it will be a street car with a occasional trip to the track. As time goes, i'll be upgrading, so tuneability down the road will be needed.

 

I don't have your answer but changing to a cable TB is wayyyy better then the drive by wire. I feel that there is a slight hesitation with the drive by wire. Goodluck!

 

You can add plugs for the TPS and IAC to your existing harness, then have the PCM tuned for the cable tb.

Yea it can be wired in, just get the Pin Diagram for what you want.
