you say no motor on the bottom of your post, yet you say it has a stock shortblock w/ no top end. which one is it?
I don't think he will get anywhere near 11,500 for it either way, that's way too high.
He might be better off parting it out than selling it for 5000 however. Maybe a little low of an offer, but not much.

the motor needs pistons he was telling me sold the heads an cam headers just a block in there. he says once its all fixed itll be for sale for 18k. idk if i insulted him saying ill give him 5000 hes sying the cars mint minus the fact no motor
I just sold a 02 WS6 M6 MINT! 12k miles, still had the dealer plastic on the carpet and the new car smell. Paint had never seen any rain. Sold it for $18K. When I mean mint, I mean I bought the car out of someone's personal collection that was kept in a ac/heated garage mint.
So yeah, a WS6 with a bad engine for 18k fixed? No way. I would have offered less than what you did. 10k fixed seems fair if it is good condition.
