i have a 99 TA M6 and my Y pipe hangs on the drivers side. i have seen this problem on other TA's also anyone know how to fix this problem, is there a hanger that i can get? i know that some aftermarket ORY's come with the hangers to stop it from banging would that work?

 

well there is no hanger on the drivers side y pipe.
i have seen this on some fbodys.
an after market y wont work if you dont have long tube headers so just take it to an exhaust shop and have them look at it or have then cut and weld in a new piece and adjust it to tuck up better.
slp did make an aftermarket y pipe that eliminated the cats but i dont know where you live so i cant say thats an option.

 

i could go with that but i want to get a set of LT's this winter so i dont want to waste the money on the y i think i will just have to wait till this winter and then deal with it thanks for the help
