Quick Catback Question

So the previous owner of my T/A put on a Flowmaster muffler. It sounds alright, but I'm wondering if a catback would change the sound at all? And what would the difference in power gains be? Basically I'm wondering if it would be worht it to upgrade or not.

power gains no, sound yes.....if you do gain any power its going to be un-noticable, however, the sound can change drasticly depending on what you replace it with

Exactly sound will dramticaly change with catback.

Check out LS1sounds.com it has a bunch of sound clips of most exhausts.

Also the chokemaster isnt good for power at all, and just like stated you will gain but probably not a noticable amount.

i have the flowmaster cat back and i love it the sound is great and turns heads. its not loud and raspy, it is low and rumbles. i love it and i would say to go with it as far as power, i dont know about that didnt feel any but the sound was all i needed so. but getting rid of the crush bends and the poor flowing pips will help.

Why does this always happen. For the second time today, I have four letters for you GMMG that's the best F-body exhaust to me. It has a great tone to it espeically with LT's, Catted Y. An now with my cam it's a sick setup. Sick in a perfect way.
