Default Ls6 intake

Got a crazy deal on an ls6 intake and BBK T/B awhile ago. Ive cleaned the outside of it but Ive noticed the inside is filthy, oil and residue everywhere. Whats the best way to clean the inside of the intake?

Do you have a pressure washer? These things clean pretty well but you will get wet in the process.

Dish soap works great with a hose or pressure washer. Also be sure to replace the gaskets before you install it.

Get a engine degreaser, and apply lots of it, then let it sit, and then clean with carbo cleaner....

Or plan b. Diesel and pressure wash it..

The dish washing soap with some scrubbing will clean the inside as well as the outside. When I pulled mine and sent it out to the body shop to have it painted that is what I did and you know that it has to be squeeky clean for paint to stick to it. Now 3 years later it still looks great..

Alright, thanks for the replies, I'll do the engine degreaser first then finish it up with some dish soap and hit it with the water hose. I'll get new gaskets before I put it on. Didn't even think about painting it yours looks great slt200mph.
