Default what to do

got an extra 400 bones after buying my wheels and i cant decide if i should get strano springs or shifter or lid. the car is stock with the exception of the wheels. its sitting kinda high so the springs are what im thinking about getting the most but i would like some performance upgrades.

thanks

Try "search". Most do the performance first, then the stance, or looks part. $.02

its a stock engine right? well a lid wont do much and a shifter wont do anything without the driver mod anyway. Get the springs and worry about saving up for real performance parts later.

Don't do springs unless you're going to replace the shocks too. Otherwise it's a waste of time.

Yes it will lower your car but the stock shocks are junk, why put them back on?

1 Get a catback exhaust (not flowmaster or some other cheap system)
2. get a used Lid for cheap and throw in a K&N.

You can easily do these 2 mods for $400 and you'll see the biggest bang for the buck. Watch the for sale secton here and your local craigslist for the best deals.

yeah id say k&n and a lid first and foremost, did mine within like a week of getting the car and made an immediate and very noticeable power gain accross the rpm range, id say prob 15 or 20 horse between the two. you could order a brand new k&n Fuel Injection Performance Kit ( FIPK ) for 399 of k&n website

well strano was sold out and i spent 100 on a driver side window motor and car wash stuff. so im left with about 300. i had to get the window motor. it sucks when you pull up to the drive through and theres a good looking girl at the window and you have to open the door.

lid and filter are a good starting point. for $300 you might be able to get some nitto DRs though.
