Default sensor heatsoaking?

on my heads/cam ws6 i've had trouble with warm-starting. 10-30 minutes after i shut the car off if i go to resart it it will not run, it will turn over but wont fire. my tuner said it's normal just my IAT sensor heatsoaking, so i relocated it to beside my foglamp in the front bumper where it doesnt catch any of the engine's heat and it still does it.

i can pretty much guarantee with 100% certainty that if i try to start it 10-30 minutes after shutting it off it wont start so i know something is heatsoaking, also ive never once had a trouble with a cold start. and 99% of the time if i unhook the battery and hook it back up the car fires right up! weird... but if it isnt the IAT what else could it be?

side note: i have a slp maf if that could be the cause...

Previously I have always heard that to be too much timing if it turns over slower when warm. If it turns over strong when warm then it sounds like a tune issue.

At cranking airflows the "IAT" value, if using the
"complex charge bias" scheme, may embody a lot
of ECT. What do your scans show for IAT with the
relocate? If the value there looks like ambient at
parked+15min, try changing to IAT-only and see if
it comes back.

High IAT temps drive SD mixture lean and lean is
not your cranking friend.
