Default Best size for my I pipe?

I'm going to get a custom y pipe made for my exhaust.

I've got LT with 3" outlets, making 13.6 square inches of flow.
I'm going to add an electric cutout in the I pipe.
What size I pipe should I get to keep it free flowing?

Thanks for the help, my math sucks.

3.5 to 4in will be the best bet...im running a flowmaster merge 3in-4in with a 4in cutout reduced back to 3in for my catback and it works great

Thanks for your replys.
I got another idea too, but I'll start another thread to draw attention...
