headers 389
Y - 129
o2 extension 50 bucks (used section)
install - free

not everyone runs rich after header installs. i installed my whole exhuast system, lid and filter at the same time and after the install drove it right off. after the cam install now that was a different story

my vote goes to a new TC as already stated.

If I were you, I'd go with a converter first. But I wouldn't go cheap on one.. If you are getting like $500 to spend on a gift for christmas, and can't get no more.. go this route:

Pacesetter Longtubes ($330+shipping).. Then o2 sims ($40). Thats what I did.. Even with the y pipe its still only around maybe slightly over $500. The gains will be awesome..

However, if you just have 500 bux and want a badass mod and can save up.. I'd definately save up another $300+ and go with a badass convertor and cooler.

If you don't give a crap for either of these routes.. You can always go ahead and get SFC's/STB/LCA's/Lca Relocation Brackets.. you will eventually end up getting them anyways..

Cheers,

I vote converter also. I would buy a SSF3500 from TSP right now and sit on it. Look at it this way, you have enough to buy the converter but not the trans cooler, shift kit and install (assuming you can't do it yourself). Trans kit and cooler combined would only be $200 and thats new. But install for all three (converter, cooler and shift kit) would run $350. That's $550 more you need. But if the converter itself was sitting in your garage you would be way more motivated to save as quickly as possible the rest of the money you need to get it installed.

Once the TC is in you'll be wondering how you ever drove your A4 without one. You could get headers, SFC, ASP Pulley, TB, ect. But they would all pale in comparison to a good 3500 stall TC. So that's my advice. Get the SSF3500 TC now and use it as motivation to save the rest.

Good Luck
