Does my car weigh THIS MUCH?

Default Does my car weigh THIS MUCH?

On the door of my car it says:

GVWR

1940 KG
4277 LB

Does my car way 4277 pounds? AH!

More around the figure of 3600 pounds.

i believe thats the weight of the car plus 4 individuals. ^ us right that your real weight will be around 3400-3600 depending on options.

my t/a cam in at around 3620 with just under a half tank no spare and no back seats + me. i believe a full optioned t/a stock weight is right around 3650 to 3700 with a full tank

My 02 ta was 3490 # full load from the factory . Its down to 3360 # now with basic weight reduction . Im going to spend a little more dough and drop another 100 # this year

Fyi : The door tag assumes 4 150 # passengers in the car so you subtract 600 # and its a ruff idea ( so I was told )

I think I have heard 3439 stock weight, I think the weight in the door is with the addition of passengers.

The weight on the door is the max weight of the car with passengers, cargo, fuel, etc.

My 98 A4 weighed 3401 stock with half tank of gas.

Weighed 3360 with the addition of some Dynamat Xtreme,Flowtech/Qtec, no jack/spare, 1/2 tank and no front anti-sway bar.

well i weighed in at 3620 at the shootout with half tank and i weigh 165 and had 100lbs out of the car so with a half tank on a stock 01 with half a tank should come in right around 3550.
