Default Ls2 intake ?

I have a 99 ls1 out of a z28, wanting to go 243 heads and ls2 intake. will this work? I have a cable driven throttle bodyand it looks theres no way for it to mount next to the tb like on y ls1 intake. can i use my ls1 fuel rails/injectors on the ls2 intake?

here is the ls2 intake http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

is it so short in the front cause of comletely deleting the egr mold and using drive by wire tb?

Or do i just need a newer ls6 intake and all my **** will bolt on it?

Here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001-...item53d3d655fe

in other words one is longer than the other to accomidate different tbs?

everything will be a direct bolt on for the ls6 intake. ls2 i believe you need bigger o-rings to make the injectors fit and might have to shim or cut down (not sure, its been awhile) the fuel rail mounting points. as for the TB, they bolt on different. not sure what options you have other than converting a DBW TB. it can be made to work. its just not a bolt on deal like the ls6. plus, in stock form, the ls6 flows better. the ls2 is only better if ported...

LS6 Intake FTW. The LS2 intake is garbage unless it's ported but you will save time and money by just getting the LS6.

Cheaper to get an ls6 intake. If you plan to port the ls2 that is the way to go.

If you do use the ls2 you will need different O rings for the injectors. You will need to shim the fuel rail where it bolts to the manifold. Also need a 90mm TB and extend the map sensor. Im pretty sure you are going to need an ls2 fuel rail too

Too much work for the LS2 Intake to outperform the LS6. LS6 Intake/Thread

bringing this back boys,

If you were going to buy the ls6 intake off ebay for 345, would you guy this instead?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LS1-I...Q5fAccessories

flow through rails and comes with a bigger tb, but will it flow the same as an ls6 intake?
