I noticed a bout a week ago that my car makes a really weird coming from the engine it sounds like, it sound like when your wheel bearing is going out but I replaced it and its still there, Im a little worried, its my DD....it doesnt affect the performance on the car at all, not that I have noticed anyway, I also noticed that when I turn the car off, on its way off it will (shiver)...anyone know were I can start looking? what could this be... I wish I could describe the sound, just a little hard to explain....

 

When does it make the noise?

 

its at idle....I got frustrated today and just dogged it to see if would get louder....it doesnt do anything funny, if it just sits there idlying it feels like metal rubbing together, I hav no idea where its coming from exactly

 

I've heard that shiver sound you mentioned when you tuen the eigine off, heard it might be pre ignition, Not 100% though

 

hows ur oil pressure?? mine was doing that for a couple of days.. raced it and spun a rod bearing ..but then again my oil pressure was a little lower than normal

 

oil pressure is good, I was reving the engine to see if I could hear anything bit everything runs normal....for a couple days I didnt notice it, this morning when I got to work and turned off my car there it was again! its starting to make me nervous...maybe its me but it kind of feel like the car is shivering a little stronger..
