Sure, can you get it to my house for $500 with a tranny?
...that's why I decided on the LM7. It wasn't my first choice but damn, how can you turn that deal down?
The only thing I'm worried about is the smaller valves on the 862 heads might not flow as well and replacing them is pricey.LS1 Heads: Better low but a smaller CR
Stock heads: Less flow but a higher CR
I'll have a bump in compression from the flat-top pistons and I'm not sure what would net me more power:

The only problem is, if I keep the 5.3 heads and mill them down to raise the CR, the flow will stay the same. If I upgraded to the LS1 heads (or even the 799s if v8envy wants to make me a deal ) I could mill them down to get the same CR and have it flow better without doing any costly valve-port work.
Another point that I haven't mentioned before is that the 862 heads have about 65k miles on them now and I can get LS1 heads with 15k miles on them for $130 shipped.

find a used f-body harness, a truck harness in a FD looks like crap anyways and the f-body harness will work much better with the injectors your going to need anyways, then get on v8rx7forum.com find eat-pez and have him make you a plug and play harness worth every penny

I've got a few parts on their way to my house now. LS2 clutch/flywheel/pressure plate, Powerbond crank pulley, full PS assembly and the LS1 heads.
I'll be making a BIG thread with lots of LSX parts I'll be needing very shortly!

Right now, I'm still collecting engine rebuild parts and that'll take place over the next 2 or 3 months. I'll only be swapping the motor into the car about one year from now so I've got quite a bit of time to finish up all of my planning before then.

cool, ive got almost all i need to get the car on the road, now i gotta start turning wrenches, but first we need to paint the engine bay and front bumper to match the car, then start swapping the ls1 stuff over while the engine is on the stand, then do the wiring, or pay eatpez to do it... then start actually swapping stuff into the car, then bc i bought a shell i gotta start swapping the interior over and alot of little stuff, im hoping to make seven NOT stock in IOWA this august and maybe even get it to import alliance in nashville in july!
