what does this mean? i get in my car. step on my clutch. turn the ignition and it doesnt start. its like im trying to turn on the car without stepping on the clutch. sometimes i release the clutch then step on it again and it starts. can that be my starter?
Yup, there is a switch down by the clutch pedal. It engages when you press in the clutch pedal and lets the engine start. I'd crawl under the dash with a flash light, find the switch, and see what's going on down there. May not be a bad switch, maybe the pedal is not pressing on the switch right or something.
