cats???

Hi all,

Just picked up a 2000 SS. The cats are bad so they need replacing. Just wondering a good place to get new ones? factory or atermarket....Thx.

sell them to the guy on here..he buys em for like 75-100 for the pair i believe.

ditch the cats, well maybe not i dont know where u live or if u do emmissions.

I agree. If you don't have a visual or sniff test, just delete them.

GM had a TSB on the Catalytic Converters. Go to your local GM dealer & see if they'll replace them for free.

I think that GM covers the converters for 10 yrs or 100,000 miles.
You should check with you local dealer & hurry.
