3600-4000...

My last car I had a 4400 in it.. Current car is a 4000..

Both were/are drove every single day rain or shine.. Only means of transportation. Doesn't bother me one bit. Just make sure you get a good converter.

Anything smaller than a 3600 is somewhat of a waste IMO.. There difference between normal driving in a say 3200 and a 4000 is virtually unnoticeable.. When you go WOT....

If it were me... I'd buy

- Patriot dual spring kit ($255)
- pacesetter long tube headers w/ y-pipe ($500)
- 3500...ish stall conv. ($475)
- magnaflow cat-back ($395)
- N.O.S wet plate kit ($700)
- 12 pack of bud light ($9.99)

Total - $2709.99

I would leave the 3.23's in it. going from a 3.23 to a 3.42 is not worth the aggravation of changing them. But thats just my $.02

My personal choice is PTC.. After that it would be VIG.

I like Yank, like them a lot. On average they are a very good converter but I don't see too many cars that stand out extremely. I see a lot more PTC and VIG cars that really catch my attention than anything else, especially PTC.

I know there are a bunch of people that will take offense to me saying Yank isn't the end to all converters, but it is my experience.

Aggreed! I am also running the PTC converter in my car and haven't had any trouble with it at all!! You can put 4.10's in your auto car but you will have to run a taller tire! I have a 4.11 gear in my strange 12bolt but I also have Hoosier 28" tall slicks on it!!

Yes some did come with 2.73's. If it has a steel driveshaft it has came with 2.73's. Aluminum came stock on 3.23 cars.

Look at the sticker on DS door and see what came in it
Rear RPO codes:

GU2 2.73
GU5 3.23
GU6 3.42
