If you are running an Electronic Tranny that Switch tells it what Gear to go in..it sends the Signal to the PCM to tell it what Solenoid to open up.

Oh. i thought it would just tell the computer to set it be taken in out of park and have you heard anything about 98 interior harnesses not matching up with 99+ interior harnesss

Really all is left for the car to make it start is wiring. i need to find write ups and how tos for the pnp switch and the clutch pedal switches and that stupoid stuff

98 and 99 are different..lots of differences..

If you can find a 1998 Interior Harness you would be money..

If you can locate a 1998 Auto Interior wiring it might save you some headache..

I say might because either way would be about the same amount of trouble..the only thing it the factory wiring is going to be correct.
