Engine Swap??

Hey there everyone, I am new to these forums and basically new to the world of V8s. I previously owned a 11 second Dodge Srt-4 Neon and decided I wanted something else, I didnt really like the car. I sold it and picked up a 2003 Mustang GT. I have heard of people swapping the ls1 or lq4 truck motors into some mustangs. I think the lq4 is the 6.0 liter truck motor, correct me if I am wrong. I am curious as to what i would need to make a successful engine swap with one of these motors? I was told to ask around on this site. If anyone has any guidance or knows someone who has done this it would be appreciated if they could help me out and get me started.

What ever made u switch to a slow *** 2v GT. Why not Just trade it in for a Ls car

Check in the Conversions and Hybrid section. I am in the process of building an '01 Mustang w/ a LS series engine in it. Still gathering parts right now.
