I think the prob here might be the OP didn't hit the gas hard enough?....probably the problem. And please, don't forget to ask your mommy for you helmet before you leave next time......

Try not to feel too bad. just be glad it wasn't worse and learn from your mistake lol. i had a similar situation. i hit a telephone pole doin about 35 head on when i was tryin to mess around in the rain. totaled my 85 z28 but everyone walked away ok. to this day i refuse to dick around in the rain at all. good luck on your pickin up the pieces
