Any A4 problems from porting TB or MAF?
I've searched on these topics and haven't found much information related to problems with porting the TB on an A4, but there seem to be varying opinions on descreening and porting the MAF ends. Has anyone come to any kind of concensus on this topic? Does it cause any problems or not? What are the problems?

porting the tb and de-screening the maf are fine. Dont port or run portrd maf ends. In short it lowers the line pressure of the tranny causing slippage resulting in heat=tranny failure. It makes your shifts sloppy also. I ran them for a while for an experiment and would not suggest them to anyone with an auto

I wouldn't even descreen it. I've been one of the few people that have actually found a leaf stuck on the MAF screen, god knows what might have happened if they had gotten sucked in. Gains are so minimal its not even worth my time.

Porting the tb wont hurt but I would stay away from the aftermarket MAF products, unless you are making upwards of 500RWHP. I gained 5RWHP from my GMAF but it was after a hell of alot of tuning on the dyno.
