Default oil pressure

so i got my oil changed the other day and noticed that my oil pressure was abnormally high. it still idles at 40 psi like usual but before i got it changed, i could go WOT and it wouldn't rise much, but now when i go WOT it just about hits 80 psi.. should i be worried?..

Was it cold when you noticed the difference you are talking about here?

Did you change brand or oil weight?

yes its cold. no i didnt change weight.

Sounds normal to me..my question is why you WOT it when it's that cold..give it a few to warm up..

everything is normal. just let the car warm up before you go over 2500rpms
