Do all lids fit all 4th gens or are they year specific? I see some for 98-99 then i see some for 00-02.

Thanks for your time

00-02 lids just have the little filter for the AIR hose that runs to the stock lid. 98-99 didn't have this hose connecting to the lid.

There are a few lids that allow a provision for the extra hose. The lid I have does not have that, so I have an additional filter stuck on the end of it (after I trimmed the hose down). If the lid you're considering purchasing doesn't have the provision, then you're able to use any lid from '98 to '02. Otherwise, you'll have a place on the lid with nothing attached to it (and a small hole).

they will all fit. Just the AIR hose difference. If your new lid doesn't have the hole for your AIR hose just put a breather filter on the hose. If your new lid has a hole for the AIR hose and you don't have the AIR hose just plug the hole in the lid.
