Whatever you do don't buy the new rpt stock maf replacements. I went through two. They are not programmed correctly. They aren't programmed to take over the fueling at 4000rpm. It's like hitting a wall . It's crazy I thought it was valve float,till I put another stock one in and it went away. I went through two of those(brand new and returned each) same thing on all of them dramatic 4000 rpm power loss. Finally oreilly gave me my money back. I guess either remanned or ac delco is the way to go.The new ac delco are expensive though. That's what I will get when my stock maf goes . I thought something was wrong with my original sensor which is what led me to buy the new rpt maf. Big mistake.

 

My ta has been acting alittle sluggish lately so i tried this maf test.
I wasnt in an area where i could play alittle so not sure if it made a difference on engine performance but it definitely changed transmission, it shifts harder and quicker. Is this normal is the maf sensor bad since it affected trans when unplugged?
