where is the engine vin code on a 1999 camaro z28?? i was looking up stuff on a decoding site and I was wondering where the engine vin code is at? forgive the newbie ok thanks!

you wont find that kind of information in the vin or RPO code. only thing it'll tell you is ls1 and tranny and gears. specifics on the engine you'll just have to know depending on year. you can check the head casting number on the head, easiest is on the drivers side head, its on the corner. check the casting number thread in the internal forum.
