Charging Question
Charging Question Can anyone tell me if the volt gauge is suppose to move around? When I start out driving it charges at 14+ but after awhile of driving it drops to 13 but never lower. Is that a the regulator doing its job or should it always be at 14? If it's going bad I want to replace it tonight or tomorrow, but some ppl tell me not to worry about it.

That's perfectly normal behavior. They all charge a bit higher right after a cold start, and usually drop off a bit as the motor heats up. If the gage is still showing 13v or higher, then everything is fine.
