What are the pros for installing a ls6 oil pump and a ls2 timing chain on a ls1?

better oil flow and the ls2 timing chain is a lot stronger than a ls1 chain

And both of these will fit the 5.3 because it is ls series engine right? If I were to buy a new ls2 timing chain what would I buy it for?
