No no.. I completely agree. If it works then why not?!

My point is that the place that I've found around here that is a legite vehicle storage place for an extended period of time has their own intake procedures, i.e. disconnecting battery, checking tire pressure, photoing the care inside and out, detailing the interior and exterior... I feel like they would kill mice before they got in... Although it's $225/mo.

Is this a normal price for this kind of care? That's going to run around $2,000 in total...

Seems pricey, i know my buddy pays a guy like 100 or so a month to keep his 03 cobra in storage over the winter with about 12 other collector cars. So 225 for the services and peace of mind doesnt sound too bad if your really concerned about it.

Well, I would of course love to pay less for the same amount of care, but i just don't know how realistic that is... again, this is my inexperience coming into play...

I have never dealt with a place that does all those services. Frankly, I wouldn't want someone touching my car anyway, because I know I can do a much better job at all those things. But, I know your situation is different because you'll be out of the region......

If you have friends that you would trust with your life, allow them access to the storage unit. That is what i did, had my 01 WS6 in storage but took it out a couple months ago. I am in Alaska for the next 2 years and have been here for almost a year with my car all the way back in Delaware. Have them start it one a month and take it around the block to warm it up and get the fluids moving. Also have them change the oil after 6 months too. I'm fortunate enough that my friend has a spare spot in his 3 car garage now. If it's done that way, you won't have to prep a thing. You should be able to find cheaper than $200+. I was only paying $138/month, look around some more fella.
