I had my ls2 harness and computer modified by WAIT4ME and am wiring it up right now in my camaro. What when the key is in the accessory posistion, what does this do for the engine computer? Just tells it the car is in "accessory mode" ? are there any functions associated with this?

The reason i'm asking is i'm setting my car up with a push button start and no key so i really have no need for the accessory wire on the harness, I just don't know if there are any down sides to not hooking it up?

 

anybody? or am i just asking a stupid question (could be true)
