Default clutch pedal hang up

I just bought a 99TA with T56 with about 60k miles on it. The clutch seems to work fine, except when I release it. The pedal comes up to where the clutch engages, then it takes about two seconds before it pops up the last inch or so. Is that normal? What could be going wrong there? Any help would be appreciated since once I work out this bug I can get on with shearing the teeth off of that 3.42 ring gear.

Slave Cylinder I believe. Mine does it as well after really hard driving. Time to upgrade to newer hydraulics.

mine does it also. I usually pump the clutch and it works fine for a while. I have heard something about drilling out the line between the master and slave cylinder.

What I've heard is there is a restriction built into the the line between the master and slave. Like Seabass said, remove it and run a drill bit through it. I've got a '99 also and have had problems with mine too.
