The TSP clear lid was my first aftermarket add-on.I added the Holley powershot about a month later. The lid was a tight fit. It took me a little while to get it lined up and fitting correctly. Had to modify the lid a bit when I installed the smooth bellows to get everything to line up.
I too think the epoxy looks crappy but most people do not notice it.

I installed an SLP air lid on my 00 ws6. It was a slightly blemished one that was on sale cheap. It fit awesome and I really like the performance. Coupled with a K&N airfilter and a SLP LM cat-back, the sucker sounds awesome. My wife loves the sound, also. I can't hardly even drive the car anymore, cause she won't move her butt out of the drivers seat. Guess I need to buy another on, so we can have his and hers.

I just got my clear (smoke) lid from TSP and I also agree about the epoxy job. It looks like it should be pretty easy to grind it down and polish it though. I also purchased the Holley air filter and breather. I read somewhere that my car requires this small breather as it is an 02. Can anyone confirm this? My car has been parked and covered since Nov when I purchased it and I have not checked it out myself yet as it has been sooooo cold here.

We have a new run of the smoked & the clear lids getting built soon! The epoxy being yellow after it cures does bother me, but its the only epoxy we've found that holds The good thing is you have to look for it to notice it when its on a car

This was brought from the dead
I actually bought another TSP lid for my SS instead of going with the QMP one. I went with black though. I will miss that look that you get when the hood is up...

One of the first mods I did was the TSP lid, in the smoked clear finish. It fit perfect, no flaws, no problems at all. I changed mine in their parking lot, the grommet took maybe a minute to swap out with the entire swap taking maybe a couple of minutes total. Very noticable difference in the car afterwards, worth every penny......
