Default What does he mean dump out for open headers?

Im reading the add for a trans am im interested in and he ends it with "but has a dumpout for open headers".

Its not an electrical cutout he said but he had to work so i stopped txting him. What exactly does that mean then? Ive heard the car before and is deffinatly not running off open headrers all the time.

Probably means he has install a turn down after the header instead of running a y-pipe and catback setup or an x-pipe. If you end up getting it, first thing to do is take that off and put some exhaust on it!

Could be a regular manual cutout
