Did your LT fit good or did you have to modify?

Take a look at these.. This is a 4000 converter. Average "around town" pick up was about 2000-2100 RPMs.

Hope that gives you an idea of how converters act.

+1. That's what I have and they fit perfectly. I didn't have to do anything. I changed the mounts at the same time so I had those out when I did it but plenty of clearance from steering and K member.

You are probably right about it being the tuner. Unfortunately, I've already spent a considerable amount on a mail order tune from trifecta that sucked then even more on this dyno tune. So until I hit the lottery, I'm stuck with this guy. Wish I knew what to tell him to change to fix this crap. Just don't get why its fine for 3 or 4 days and then goes to ****.

No offense... Just because your donkey dick cam only did that doesn't mean a properly setup smaller cam car can do more.
I am putting down over 400Rwhp... 226/228 .588 114

I have a buddy putting down just a tad over 450Rwhp with a VERY similar cam as mine in an M6.

Besides that, dyno numbers mean absolutely nothing. It is all about how the entire setup works together. And mid 22X cams have been proven over and over again. A good set of heads (that the cam matches) go a LONG way.

I have cleaned this thread up and removed the flaming insult posts. Let's not head down that road again, next time I'll just lock the thread.
