An LS6 intake should be mandatory for a bolt-ons car, let alone a cammed one. Might look into a FAST setup with a cam the size of an MS3.

I think you need to do some more research, because you'll never see gains like that on a stock NA engine, ever.

You guys are overly optimistic. A stock engine with stock manifolds & cats would be lucky to see a 5rwhp gain.

I agree.

If you are doing one mod at a time (or as money allows), things like headers & stall should be done first.

only retain the egr stuff if your states requires it.if you see one for a good price get it.do some research and start shopping around for a good stall converter .

Could you elaborate on this?

What is your end goal with the car? Will it stay bolt ons? Maybe a cam? A lot of people will say a FAST is overkill for a stock 346 but even the 102 shows gains everywhere over an LS6 with no losses. Id get a used FAST 90/92 over the LS6. It will cost more now and wont gain a lot over the LS6 where you stand now but the more mods you add the more the FAST will shine

I agree that the stall is one of the absolute best mods you can do to an auto (make sure you get a good cooler too!!) but you also have to consider, when looking at stalls, that when you buy a quality converter, youll most likely get a converter built to exactly how your car is setup. You add power to that, and it will change the characteristics of the stall.

I personally would pick up the LS6 intake. If nothing else, just hold on to it until you get ready to do headers, and install it then.

the real benefit will be paving the way for future mods as it will help you breathe easier
