Not like your gonna do hard time for that but it's not as easy as a $150 dollar ticket and have a nice day either.

Besides A4's can hit 160 in fourth. It's not like we can't hit the top speed governor and you guys can. Personally I don't see why anyone would want to go that fast anyway unless he/she was a perfessional driver and on a track. I assume you meant doing 135 mph on a road course or something like that so I'm not flaming you. You just left that statement so wide open I didn't want some of the teenage LS1 M6 owners to read this and get a very bad idea without understanding the potential consequences can be very severe. Sometimes even fatal.
Yeah i almost hit a possum one night runnin 135.

sorry, if this is a dumb question, but how would a stock auto NORMALY do in the 1/4. and how much better would that same auto do in the 1/4 with a stall??? I know this is a general question, but all i expect for an answer is just a general idea, of how much better an auto is with a TC... thanks to all the auto guys!

Red face

Every once in a while I read an article in the newspaper about how a car was almost stolen or taken for a joy ride, but the person/people trying to take the car couldn't work the clutch and shift the gears - and gave up after a block or two!

I think the choice between automatic transmissions and manual transmissions comes down to personal choice. I like them 50/50. Well, almost 50/50 - I like manual transmission 51% of the time and automatic transmission 49% of the time. There are times when transmission is better than the other and vice versa.
