Default Need exhaust help

I have a 98 SS and the ses light keeps coming on. Think the cat is clogged. Should I gut the cat and use O2 sims. or get high flow cats?

Why do you think its the cat??? Bad smell, red glow?? You say the light keeps coming on.
Does it shut off then come again? If you have a bad cat the light will remain on at all times period. Bring it to your local Auto Zone for a free scan. Thats your best bet.

It is on all the time. I know it is the cat. I am just asking should I gut them or get high flowing ones. What is better?

Its your call. You can gut them and get 02's. Or pick up a set Random Tech, Carsound, Or Magnaflow hiflo cats. Tests have shown very little hp loss when using these cats. If cost is a concern, gut them. Also what else do you have done to the car, or what are your future plans. Take that into account too. No point in spending money on cats now if your gonna put some headers on in the future.
