car smart or tech smart this site is hands down the best tech site, some guys can drop so much **** it'll make your head spin. Others can turn a wrench like no other but couldnt tell you difference between lsa and ICL.
so where do you fall in? more tech smart or car smart. i consider myself in the middle of the spectrum 0 being all tech and 10 being all car (hands on). i've done my own h/c/i, long tube, Y, and catback install. and have enough tech knowledge to get by and contribute to a tech thread and not come off as a complete dumb ***

Been fixing my own cars since '79 and playing with
electronics since I was 10 or so. I design "chips",
though mine are the lower end of high tech. Have
owned 20+ cars, mostly beaters, and almost as
many computers. I weld ugly and solder pretty,
and circuits I designed have gone past Jupiter.
But I still don't trust computers, especially in
cars.

Someday, I'm hoping to be able to contribute something toward the tech side of this site. I can tell you loads about carb and old technology, and can turn a wrench alright. And, I love spending an afternoon crawling under the car, with appropriate cussing of course! So, call me 50/50.

little bit of both... (did heads/cam/intake/injectors etc... plus my own computer tune to get the car running about where it should be) ... i understand the terms and how everything affects a motor (well how alot of things affect the motor) ... at least w/LS1s ... I don't know jack schitt about other motors though (other than the basics)
