New guy checking in I just joined the site. I have been browsing for a few days and I have found more technical knowledge then I can take in. I am about to do a T-56 swap into my 1997 Suburban and this site has given me a lot of great info. Also I am going to rebuild the T-56 my self and I found everything I ever needed to know about doing that on this site. I have future plans for an LT1 or LS1, but for now money is tight. So I came across this T-56 for an unbelievable price, the 4L60crappyE blew up finally, and couldn't resist. So far with all of my scouring the Internet, I have found tons of people with LT1/LS1 and t-56 swaps into their trucks, but no Suburban's to be found. So I guess I will be the first. So I have just about everything I need to do this swap, juts a few misc. parts to get, then the rebuild and then in it goes. I will update everyone if they are interested, I know this isn't a truck forum, but I thought some of you might get a kick out of it. See ya later.
