Stickers. Lots and lots of stickers. Thats the only real way to make power on our LSx. Color changing neon light help aerodynamics, I hear.

Id go with a cat-back first... nothing like hearing the difference between stock and aftermarket. Plus you can feel the power gain somewhat.

from exp with building mine and the surprises i ran into, id go with good lid/intake setup and a good catback or full system, after that i recommend SFCs and if its a manual, id save up for a new rear end, it will go out on u, and when u do u can up grade gear ratios too and feel a diff there, but id start with full bolt ons and SFCs, no matter which way u go good exhaust, intake and all help

Before doing SFC's or other suspension mods, I'd definitely look into a set of good shocks, definitely makes the car more solid, stable, and fun to drive. Otherwise, like many have said, lid/catback/shifter if it's an M6 are very good starting points.

If you like autox do your suspension first. On track a well setup lt1 4th gen can wipe the floor with a stock ls1 with power mods...get springs and shocks, then look into bars and other peices.

Do a shifter, lid, catback for overall fun and you will have a nice quick, fun setup that will do well on the course too.

From there you can do things like headers and such.

And a very very large wing, possibly a body kit, but only if he wants extreme hp.
