Default Need some direction..

This Christmas I will have about $1000 dollar budget to spend for performance modification. Looking to get the most improvement out of this budget what would you guys suggest? I thought about headers but I heard the improvement is minimal with just headers being added.

As far as what I have now, its mainly an SLP lid and a flowmaster catback with a DMH cutout thats about it.

Looking for some serious advice.

Thanks

Little background the car is a 2001 ws6 m6. I thought about going to 4.10 gears but give me some input

How about suspension? The stock DeCarbons are pretty weak. You can get Bilsteins for less than $500, less for KYB AGX. You'd be amazed at the difference.

Play your cards right u should be able to get the headers/full exhaust AND the gears for around 1000. Then u would be very pleasently suprised at how much different and more fun the car is to drive

This would be difficult to do unless you can install the gears yourself. Shop the sponsor sales section, since the xmas deals are usually greattt.

i found quite a big gain going with headers and a new y pipe. just get it tuned and you'll feel more of the difference.
