Default powersteering pump i think?

about a week ago i got a death knock coming from the engine we thought but couldnt find it and it ended up going away after a day, was my water or power steering pump going bad was my thought after actually listing to it cause it wasnt a rythematic sound but, well a week later (last night) i lost my power steering completly, checked fluid and it was good so my guess is between the noise from last week and last nights events it was my pump making noise and then finally giving out last night, main question is how hard or how do u go about taking the power steering pump off, like what else has to come off and is it fairly simple? or if u guys think it isnt the pump what should i check? thanks

Rent power steering pump pulley remover, remove pulley, remove bolts/hoses. Install new one.

Go turnone pump IMO.... Google it

I would get one with the reservoir IMO. I had a GM one explode on the highway in the mountains.
