power steering high pressure fitting q
I'm replacing the high pressure power steering line with Russell Powerflex stainless steel braided hose. I got everything connected and just got back from driving around the block.
On the high pressure fitting coming out of the pump, it's leaking really badly. I used Teflon tape on the threads, there's an o-ring, and I tightened it on pretty damn tight with a crow's foot and ratchet.
Here's a pic of the fitting (pn aer-fbm2608):
My question is, how tight is this supposed to be when you thread it into the pump??
