Pulling timing Is there any advantage to pulling any timing when not running either stage of nitrous. I notice the MSD Twister was set to pull 6 degrees when I got the car home and I was thinking I should set it back to the stock setting since I wasn't planning on spraying the car anytime soon. It has some 862 heads with 2.05 valves and a cam with a program installed with kooks headers so I was just wanting to know if any of you still pull timing when not spraying.

^What he said, on my SS i run depending on KR(knock retard) an average of 4-7 degrees advanced over stock on my car with boltons, it makes a noticable difference in power. When i spray a 100 shot i use the stock timing tables. Depending on how much your spraying its always better to be conservative with timing, yes it usually makes power but is one of the biggest killers.
if you take the correct precautions then you wont need to pull any timing.
i sprayed 125 with 22 degrees added on my hemi but i monitored knock, colder plugs and 109 otane
