Default Stroker, whats it like?

Whats it like driving say a 383 or 408 stroker, automatic, compared to just a mild cammed ls1 with maybe 350rwhp and 350tq? I know the torq will be alot more and start alot earlier in the curve. but im curious what that is like? does that mean that if i get on it im just going to blow the tires off? Thanks!

I went from a 436/420 heads/cam set up to a 465/460 382ci and the difference was amazing. So much fun to drive with power everywhere. Street tires are pretty worthless, but the giggle-inducing tire-inceration was pretty fun. Totally changes the character of the power delivery and I highly recommend a stroker. FI will make more ultimate power easily, but the outright urgency of a well-tuned stroker cannot be underestimated. Plus you can always spray it. I made ~650rwhp with a little wet 150shot...plenty for a street-driven car with decent manners.

with the right suspension and tires you traction will improve.on the street you will spin, its not a prepped drag strip.with more power you need better weight transfer.
