Default oil pressure gauge

where is a good place to install a mech oil pressure gauge on a ls1 my vetter keeps the needle on the gauge in the dash pegged put

You could run a T-fitting off the stock oil pressure sensor located behind the intake manifold and use a gauge that will read higher than 80 PSI. Also the fitting right about the oil filter itself. It's empty on F-bodies but I believe the Vettes have a fitting there for oil temperture. Use a T or Y fitting there. I personally wouldn't run a mechanical gauge into the cabin since you'd be bringing in oil inside the cabin. I'd use an electrical gauge in this situation.

ok i will check that i think the sensor it self is bad that why i want to check it i drove the car back from chicago and it never came down and that was a 6 hr drive
