Make sure that is the car you want and look through all the ads in the newspaper before you buy it. me and my dad were about to buy a 00 camaro z28 in pretty good condition but they wouldnt go under 16,500 so we told them we would call them the next day after we talked about it. That next day we found the car i have now which is a 2000ss with 26,000 miles and perfect condition for 16,500. So make sure this is what you want before you buy it.

How long does it take to put SFC's on? I don't think they are any decent shops around here that I trust. I could do it on my way to class one day, I'm in college, and it would be there all day almost which would give a shop plenty of time to do it. What about bolt on ones though? I could do that myself? I'll just do that and a lid/catback/ and maybe MAF, while I save up for my turbo kit.

I've been looking for sometime now, I have never seen a car under 30k miles for this price. And this car only has 16k. I kinda wish it would have t-tops and maybe leather, but it will be better in the long run when I go to race it out. I will have less hassles with leather cracking and t-tops leaking. For the price, I can't pass it up, and the mileage is awesome, as long as it checks out ok tommorrow

Congraduation...!!! I'm also a proud owner of a 00 T/A M6 T-top. I got it for $16K with only 14,000 miles in it. I only got it for two weeks and I can't believe that its not even stock anymore. Hookers exhaust and lid/k&n just went in last week and the jet hot lt/catted ypipe is on the way.

that blowing noise you hear and hope its stop after about 2-3 min. after you start the car in the morning my guess is your air pump.sfc like the macs should take about 1-2 hrs to weld and paint.unless you get the fancy ones like the double diamond and will take more.good luck

Well I got my dad to cosign for me, my only problem is my mom owns my vette!!! She isn't even in the state right now! I am going to try to convince her to come home today so I can get the car!!!! I am going to run mine at the track all stock, I want some base times and see what mods do what, thats what I did with the vette. I like being able to see what improvements you get from what and how much etc. So SFC's shouldn't take to long then, I just have to find a reputable shop around here to do them. What about the bolt on ones? I should put up a post, or do a search, I think I better wait until I actually get this car.

Thats what I figured, I see a lot of camaros with the hood slightly gapped wrong, especially on the sides, but not at the corners or front, it looks like it was just cut wrong or something from GM. Well so far everything is still a go, if the carfax and mechanic shop check it out ok, I will be putting a downpayment on it tonight and picking it up tommorrow morning.

Good luck man, and my Family lives in Deleware, ever heard of the DiOssi's? They are in hockessin, newark, and my aunt works at the Hockessin Firehouse. (HUGE FOR SUCH A SMALL PLACE!!!!) Well, I got my 01 SS for $19,000 with 28k on the clock. My friend got his 00 SS for $16,000 with 35k miles. He got a much better deal, but his car was sold by private, mine a dealer.
Do not change the MAF, we have a local 700hp car with the stock 75mm MAF, and a proted TB. So I think he could speak freely upon that subject, not saying he would see more power with a bigger TB and MAF, just sayd, put you money to something else that makes more, like a Cam.

There is a real good place in Townsend DE(near middletown) to get the sfcs welded in. My car is going there sat for some work. http://www.rhodescustomauto.com/. Quite a few DE guys are getting together for a couple track days at the end of this month-beginning of next month so hurry up and get your damn car

I'm 17 and my dad won't let me mod mine either. I have gotten a new intake, SSRA, Tune, and a few others and he has no clue!! Just gotta be low key, and say it came on the car if he asks. Well he knows about the LM but that is only because I am a little louder......just a little.

Just came back from driving it all night, I love the car! I drove it about 75 miles tonight! My legs hurt from all the shifting!!!! Everyone loved the car, and I love it even more, its so much fun, and fast! I'm going to slightly mod it so my dad won't notice, but mainly it is just my daily driver until I get outta college, then the motor build up begins!
