Clutch is pooched and I now need a new one, just dont know which one to buy. Also not sure if I need to purchase any other components such as a flywheel?

If you plan on modding the car, a stock clutch will never cut it, alot of guys run the LS7 some have good luck, some have bad. I run a monster level 4 behind my 383. A ton of guys run monster clutches and love them, and their customer service is second to none. I would stay away from Spec clutches, I have heard way too many horror stories about them.

Only reason I say Centreforce is because I can get killer deals on them. Dual Friction Centreforce for $450

 

I have a spec stage 2 with billet steel flywheel for 300 shipped. It is brand new. Shipped from spec direct. It is good for 690 ftlb of tq and retails at 429 plus shipping. I am selling because I thought there was a problem with the clutch so I sent it to spec and went a different way. Ended up being a different issue now I have a clutch I dont need. It is 300 for the clutch flywheel pressure plate alignment tool and the slave shim. This will also be shipped from spec themselves. If you are worried about the product contact spec 01 direct I have many contacts with him about this clutch. I also can promise it has 0 miles on it!
