I'm with everyone else on the getting it tuned part. I picked up over 70hp and almost 100tq from a dynotune with headers and true duals plus some other bolt ons. The baseline numbers were so god awful I almost wanted to cry, but i'm very happy with the new numbers.

If I have one regret from true duals, it's that I can't lower the car (custom 3" setup, i'd have like an inch of ground clearance)

Nope don't regret a thing about my TDs, I got a used Bassani kit though, so no vibrations and didn't lose any torque as far as I can tell. Also love how civilized it is, if I want to cruise or creep by cops just have to keep the RPM below 1900. On the flipside want to be loud, keep it above 2k .

Is there even one solid piece of data out there that proves TDs have an advantage of a Y setup?

Just curious.
Uh yes. Tons of data... let me ask you this, in ANY race series from F1 to NASCAR have you seen Y-pipes utilized? Or do you see them on production junk where cost and ease of packaging is a factor? Because trust me if Ys made more power or even the same, they'd be used all over the place because of weight savings....

I saw this thread title and was like what??? I have no regrets with my duals. Sounds awesome, gained more power, get more compliments and it costs less than my old ypipe setup. I would look into getting it tuned for proper gains. Also I'll be lowering my car so hopefully I'll have a little clearance left lOL!

I have had the TSP true duels/ bullets for about 6 months now and will not go back to a catback. I do think it is a bit too loud for DD, but I am gonna change to the Magnaflows. Folks seem continually point out that they are quieter than the bullets and sound great.

Try Moroso Spiral Flows. I'm using their 3" bullet, and in car noise isn't loud at all but when you hear the car driving it sounds mean. And at WOT, you'll sound like you're dragging hell right behind you.

The only time I regretted duals was when i ran them straight off the collectors and dumped them right under my seat. That sucked. lol. That was about 7 yrs ago though. Grown up in my old age since then.

The TSP bullets. It is very deep and it sounds great with the windows down. The problem is when the windows are up or closed. So before I change out the bullets I am gonna try and put the edead80 in the cabin front to back.

so i had the exhaust lengthend so it exits from the factory spots, less vibration but still lots of stuttering from the engine in the first two gears; however, third gear and on is pretty awesome! i floored it from 80 and it kept on pulling until i let off at 140
